Disappointed in the way Frigidaire handles there service/warranty reports. I contacted the customer service department early in September to submit a request & they had a technician come out to the house the following week. The technician came, he took pictures, and submitted his report. He stated I would receive a call back within 5 days with the outcome of the report and the next steps. 2 weeks passed and I hadn™€™t been contacted. I contacted Frigidaire and was informed that the ™€œtechnicians report was not sufficient to determine if the range was reparable.™€ Frigidaire stated they would send a technician from another company called D3S. The technician from D3S arrived unprepared. He called Frigidaire while at my house and they asked if he could turn on his camera so they could do a video call through the app and see the issue. He started that he did not have access to the Frigidaire app because his supervisor did not give him access to it. Frigidaire informed him to take pictures and upload them to the app once he left my house. I sent pictures to the technician with D3S that I had taken on my own and he took a few of his own. He stated he would send his report and the pictures when he got back to the office. One week passed and I contacted Frigidaire to inquire if they had received the report from D3S. They stated they had not received it. They told me to wait 3 more days and to call back. I called back and still no report. Frigidaire told me to contact D3S and inquire about the report and so I did. D3S stated that they had closed the case on their end and had submitted the report and pictures already. I called Frigidaire to let them know of this information and they stated that they would let the lead technician know so that he could look at the file closely again. I was told I would get a call back, no call back after one week. I called back and was informed that D3S still needed to submit their report. I texted the D3S technician and he read my text but did not reply. I called D3S and they said ™€œso Frigidaire is asking for pictures that the technician took?™€ as if it™€™s not a common thing that they do with all reports. D3S informed me that they would submit the pictures. At this point 1 month and 2 weeks had gone by since I initially called Frigidaire. After giving some time for Frigidaire to receive the report/pictures I called back after 2 days. The Frigidaire agent asked me why I was inquiring about D3S sending them pictures. She stated that she didn™€™t understand why Frigidaire had sent D3S out in the first place, since they had already sent their own technician initially. I told her that I was informed that Frigidaire™€™s technician apparently did not submit sufficient information according to the warranty department. She stated that she would read the notes in my file to further understand, because on her end it was showing that the range was deemed non-reparable. After reading her notes she stated that 1. At that moment they had not received the report from D3S and 2. There was no need for D3S to submit their report to them because it would not make a difference on the case decision (range being non-reparable, not covered by warranty.) I find it unprofessional from the company (not the agent) to be told this information after 45 days+ of me trying to receive answers. If the D3S report was never needed why was my time wasted in waiting for the technician to come to my house and constantly calling both companies to receive information? Why did they send someone out who never needed to see the appliances? Why did they not attempt to contact D3S if they noticed that weeks had gone by and no report was received? At this point I was exhausted, disappointed, annoyed, and felt defeated from trying to receive answers from 2 companies that were not being helpful and providing contradicting information each time that I called. The agent stated that what she could do was send me a coupon to use on a new range. She stated she had my email and confirmed the email. She stated I would receive the coupon shortly. I decided to not continue the conversation and that I would leave the issue as it was, with the outcome of me receiving a coupon for a discount on the range. The coupon never arrived to my inbox, junk mail, or spam box. I do not plan on reaching out to Frigidaire again as they are not consistent with their information or assistance. I have spent to much time contacting them already and have not been pleased with their assistance. I will not be purchasing future products from this company. Summary of issue - The construction home came with the range included. After living in the home for a 1 year the oven had only been used 2 times. The first time my dad used it, he was home alone. He told me that it smelled gassy and that the fire alarms had gone off. His remedy was to open the windows and the door so the air could circulate. The second time was when I used it. It did smell gassy but I thought that maybe since it was a new stove and the oven had only been used once before that it was normal. 4 hours after the stove was no longer in use the CO2 alarms went off non stop for 25 minutes. The fire department came and stated that the Carbon Monoxide levels in the house were at 32%. They shut off the gas and informed us to contact the gas company. When the gas company came the employee stated that the regulator was broke, that it looked like it was broken upon install. According to Lennar Homes Frigidaire sent their own people to install the appliances. Lennar Homes and the gas company informed me that according to my pictures the appliance was damaged upon install.

It seems just below high and on high the flames are not even on some burners . Your suppose to have uniform flame all around . This is not the case . The dark metal tops are in the proper position yet still no uniform flame one the effected burners . No pics available at the time of this writing

I am very happy with my new gas range. I had an older Frigidaire model before, but it didn™€™t have a self-cleaning oven or the broiler in the oven, instead of in the lower drawer. Just those two improvements have made my day, but then add the raised burner grates that make the FIVE burners a flat surface to slide pots across, and now I™€™m jumping for joy - THANKS, Frigidaire!!!

Our previous gas range was a Frigidaire. It lasted for 16 years before it developed some small problems. So we decided to look for a new range and found this range. The only difference is that it has 5 burners instead of four. We are very pleased with it!! Great quality and the price was right.

It heats up really fast which I think is pretty important and my pans don't get destroyed during it. But there's 5 burners and they seem to be pretty close together. Depending on what pan or pot I'm using I can't use the closest burner to it. Not usually a problem except that there's labels for each burner on what they should be used for. Great idea for someone that needs that extra guidance but if you're strictly trying to follow those labels your pans won't also fit. I'll also say that my apartment AC is right above my stove, so if my ac is running the left most two stove burners go out if they are on a low setting. Gas still goes tho, now that we figured out the cause we have to be more careful about using that side on low heat. I've had no issues with the oven, but it definitely smelled super weird that very first time. We had to use the self cleaning function before we used it on food because the smell was just so off. But, it burned away just fine and all food has been tasty and cooked evenly.

Awesome as a propane-converted appliance

We live rurally and so I was expecting to live more austerely in many respects, but this stove is the most amazing I™€™ve ever cooked on. It works with a propane conversion kit and lights easily, no matches. It™€™s luxurious actually, with a rapid boil burner, simmer burner, another specialty burner, and even a fifth burner in the middle. The stovetop has an open design, which allows spattering under the cast iron grill-prongs (don™€™t know the proper term) that hold the pots/pans, and my husband said that makes it harder to clean. I just lift them right off to clean when cool. The oven start is easy to work, and it beeps when at the desired temp. I got a small, narrow griddle pan to hold my stir spoons and place that on the central top burner when I only need 1-4 burners. This stove is luxurious for cooking and I can easily prepare a muli-entree dinner for nine on family holidays ™€¦ fun, actually!

Love it has a quick boil burner makes making dinner faster. I also love its easy to use and easy to clean. It's also pleasing to the eye in my kitchen. I don't like stainless but this black is timeless and matches so well. I love working with a gas vs electric stove as even in power outage I can cook. Oven doesn't overly heat the house which is great in this heat! I can bake and not worry about heating the house up.

This is the BEST oven/stove I have ever owned. The broiler is in the oven and not underneath (something that cheaper ovens seem to do and it's horrible), it's self-cleaning, it's easy to operate, it's beautiful, and it's super functional. Worth the money.

Stove is marvelous. However, I live where the Stove requires a propane conversion kit to which does not come with the stove when purchased. It was painful to get the right gas line kit to connect the Stove to the gas line. However, once the conversion kit, gas line, and correct flar tips were added, the Stove works like a champ. BINGO!
